How to Enjoy Tacos + Wine & Still Hit Your Goals
It’s Friday night. You’ve had a girl’s night out on the calendar for a month and you cannot wait. You brought out your best fitting jeans.
This used to stress you out because you knew exactly which wine or margarita you would order, but you were counting calories and knew those would put you over your mark for the day. Not only that, but the guilt you would feel in having a drink or splurging on tacos or pasta made you not enjoy yourself.
Except now...you’ve learned how to balance your nutrition throughout the week. You don’t stress about your Friday night order because you know it's okay to enjoy yourself and your nutrition lifestyle supports that every day. Front load with protein - Hands down, women struggle with getting in their protein every day. How can you front load your lunch or afternoon snack with foods high in protein. Protein keeps you satisfied and not reaching for chips around 3 pm.
Drink your water - Water keeps things moving and helps you with hunger later on in the day. It’s one of those macronutrients we never get enough of!
Plan your day - If you know it’s a girls night out or you want pizza this weekend, then have eat clean the front half of your day, fast a little longer if you want and then enjoy yourself!
